WPC Wall Panels: Selection & Cost Guide

A good cladding choice starts with the location, the finish you want and the way the panels will be fitted. This guide helps you compare DEVOX WPC wall panels and prepare an itemised quote.

Choose the range for the location

ECHO is an interior WPC panel with a castellated profile. The current product page lists 140 × 17 × 2900 mm and 185 × 17 × 2900 mm options. Choose the width and finish together, then check the matching trims. Older brochure dimensions differ from the current listing, so confirm the selected profile before ordering.

Emerge has a tongue-and-groove WPC profile. Its current listing offers a 218 × 33 mm profile in several lengths from 2400 to 6000 mm. For exterior work, confirm the intended exposure, supporting substrate, fixing detail and project requirements with DEVOX and your installer.

Other finishes solve different design needs. Nest is a wood veneer and felt acoustic panel; it is not WPC. StoneWall offers flexible stone finishes. Compare a physical sample in the actual light before choosing between a slatted, profiled or stone surface.

Measure the wall and plan the cuts

Record the width and height of each wall separately, plus doors, windows, corners and service cut-outs.
Choose the board direction and a length that suits the layout. A taller board can reduce joints, but it may also create larger off-cuts.
Ask for the effective installed width of the chosen profile. Tongue-and-groove overlap means nominal board width alone may not establish coverage.
Sketch the full boards and cut pieces. Round the order to whole selling units and agree a spare allowance with the installer based on the cutting plan.

For example, a wall 3.6 m wide and 2.7 m high has a gross area of 9.72 m². That is a starting measurement, not a board quantity. Openings, joint overlap, board direction and usable off-cuts still need to be accounted for. The panel calculator can help with an initial estimate; confirm the final layout before buying.

Build a realistic cost estimate

Compare quotes using the same scope. Check whether the advertised price is per board, pack or square metre, which variant it covers and whether tax and delivery are included. A price per board cannot be compared directly with a price per square metre without confirmed installed coverage.

Panels: the chosen finish, profile, length, selling unit and agreed quantity.
Edges and junctions: start/end trims, internal and external corners, and any joining trims.
Installation: compatible fixings or adhesive, preparation, support framing, cut-outs, labour and access.
Delivery and extras: freight, handling, planned spare material and removal of the old finish where required.

Use: panel quantity × confirmed unit price, plus trims, fixing materials, preparation, labour and delivery. Ask your installer to separate those amounts. DEVOX product prices cover the selected listed item; an installed project needs its own quote.

Check the details before ordering

Confirm the supporting surface, moisture and exposure conditions, fixing method, expansion requirements and trim sequence. Ask for project-specific documentation where fire performance or another regulated requirement applies. A decorative panel finish alone does not establish the performance of the complete wall assembly.
